As we were in Goa now we all were quite excited to visit the tourist hotspots of the state. I am a nature lover and the idea of laying and relaxing on the sun – kissed beaches allures me. So we all set foot to visit the beautiful Arambol Beach in Goa.
This beach is a famous tourist destination and hence the infrastructure for hospitality services has been developed here quite well. There are a number of hotels around the beach, eating joints that serve delicious local cuisine etc. to offer a memorable experience to tourists.

The way to this pristine and serene beach is also as interesting as the site itself. The Arambol Beach is located at a distance of around 50 kilometres from the capital city of Goa i.e. Panaji. The beach lies at the Northern part of Goa and can be reached via a winding road which extends through a furrow of exotic cashew trees. We picked a couple of cashews on the wa as well.
The Aambol Beach is a rocky beach that houses a fresh water lagoon. This lagoon extends to a thick jungle at the bottom of the valley. Huge volume of tourists flock to this mesmerising beach to take a dip into the lake that is fed by hot water springs. The sulphur rich mud that lines the lake is considered to have medical characteristics and hence tourists love applying this mud on their skins to make it look healthy and glowing.

People who wish to take refuge from their hectic life and are looking for a tranquil and peaceful location to relax and rejuvenate their minds and body must visit this exotic beach in Goa. The beach stretches over 16 kilometres of coastline and is surrounded by cliffs that are best suited for active tourism activities such as paragliding and boat trips. People go on boat trips to watch the amazing dolphins that reside in the waters that wash the Arambol Beach. You can also go for swimming and surfing in the sea.
There are also a couple of local shops adjacent to the beach that sells handicrafts, junk jewellery and clothes etc.
