Hi, this is Soumya Shetty; I am out here with the posts of my exciting trip to Chennai. Being a budget traveller, I opt for the cheapest means of transport for most of my trips. The railways of India offer some exclusive experiences to travel to diversified destinations of India. My train travel by Mysore Chennai Express was a remarkable experience of my life with one of my clients who was also a friend of mine. Both of us were planning to rediscover Chennai to fetch the best out of the trip.
The Mysore Chennai Express is a well-furnished train with almost all the amenities provided for the passengers to avail them undoubtedly. Bangalore Junction is somehow a congested railway station; being the capital of the state of Karnataka, it consists of a large group of visitors from every sector each passing day. On the day of our travel, the train was on the right time and it departed at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. After plunging into the train we managed to place our baggage at their appropriate places and we were excited too as our berths were catered as per our requirements beside the windows.
Though it was three-tier AC and the windows were packed but the outside mishmash could be easily felt. The train was running like anything and it gushed through the junctions and stations of Bangarapet, Jollarpettai, Katpadi Junction, Arrakkonam, Perambur, etc. The train journey was exciting from boarding to having lunch in the train, and from halting at every commercial station to sipping celebrated coffee over playing cards to having dinner with the cuisines of the railway canteen.
The next morning the train reached Chennai Central at 9:20 am and we fetched out our luggage with an excitement of the prospected trip ahead. We left the station with a farewell, seeking for the hotel outside to check in and get refreshed to move further for the wonderful destinations that we were supposed to cover.
